The systematization nursing care and work of nurses to patients with myocardial infarction

Objective: To describe the nurse’s role in patient care in AMI, point its performance in serving the patients with myocardial infarction in emergencies and identify the main Nursing Diagnoses. Method: This is a literature review through literature search in major electronic media of scientific dissemination, considering the papers published between the years 2011-2015, and official site queries to collect updated data and legal grounds. Results: The qualified nurse with theoretical and practical knowledge can be the difference in assisting the infarcted. With a look differential to interpret the signs and symptoms the nurse acts focused to anticipate and prevent complications. The primary nurse in assisting the infarcted has the systematization of nursing care an instrument that legitimizes their action and favors its communication with the multi and interdicisplinar staff, and enable individualized care that meets human needs, and contributes to solving assistance. Conclusion: The role of nurses is essential both in the initial approach to the patient with acute myocardial infarction as well as in monitoring and guidance process that stimulates the care.
